    Porgy and Bess
    Join the Weeksville Heritage Center for
    an amazing Broadway fundraiser.

    Join us to see Porgy and Bess starring Audra McDonald, Norm Lewis, and
    David Alan Grier at the Richard
    Rodgers Theatre in Manhattan
    on December 18th at 3pm.

    Haiti Relief Efforts


    On January 12th, 2010, a series of earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 6.5 to 7.3 devastated Haiti. The American Red Cross is working with its partners in the global Red Cross and Red Crescent network, including the Haitian Red Cross, and other partners
    to assist those affected by this
    disaster.

    As the world continues to step forward in this time of tragedy, Delta Alpha Zeta asks that you give what you can and donate to the American Red

  • Continuing the Legacy... 5 pearls

     


    Delta Alpha Zeta will continue the legacy of Finer Womanhood, Scholarship, Service, and Sisterly Love on which Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was founded. Our founding principles are the central focus on which all of our programs and activities are built. A focus on our founding principles, along with effective management and accountability to the chapter will lend itself to chapter growth and improved chapter cohesiveness. The following outlines the mission that the leadership of the chapter will promote:
     

    • DAZ Chapter Vision:
      The members of the Delta Alpha Zeta Chapter will work to gain a stronger presence in the Borough of Brooklyn which will allow us to be change agents for our community.

    • DAZ Chapter Mission Statement:
      It is the mission of the
      Delta Alpha Zeta Chapter to maintain our positive impact upon the community through dedicated Service. We continue to advance Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.’s impact on the world by building on the traditions of our past while addressing the concerns of contemporary society in Brooklyn, New York.
